Designed by ex-military personnel, Total Warrior has been described by organisers as the ‘pinnacle of obstacle racing.’ From dodging electric shocks to running through flames, the course is not for the faint hearted.
A hardy team of employees took on this intimidating challenge to raise money for our designated charity, The North West Air Ambulance, as well as a number of other good causes.
After months of training, 32 employees, led by Sally Cabrini, our Business Services Director, conquered the 12.5km obstacle course, raising over £6,000.
Sally said: “It was a really challenging event, but great fun too, and all to raise money for a great cause. One of the team raises awareness of blood donations through many events and this challenge inspired some of the team to get themselves signed up on the blood donor register.”
Team member Allan Heron added: “It was good fun, and we raised a lot of money for worthy charities. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a challenge.”
