It’s been an award winning year for our business, with our improvements in customer service helping us to win some top UK accolades.
We won no less than four WOW! Awards at the 2013 event - at our first time entering. This global scheme celebrates great customer service. The haul featured the award for Best Newcomer, Most Inspiring Frontliner, the Really Special award (for going the extra mile for a customer), and the memorbaly titled from Oww to Wow Award – recognising our progress in complaints reduction.
Alongside these headline awards, three of our Wastewater Customer Support Technicians received over 100 WOW! Nominations, thanks to satisfied customers who took the trouble to log onto to our website and leave positive feedback. You can read the latest nominations here.
And the awards tally didn’t end there. We were also named Best Utility Company in England and Wales by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), and picked up the award for ‘Best Utility Company’ in the Top 50 Customer Service Awards – a very hotly contested and well respected national awards programme.

And, I think the recognition we’ve received both from the WOW awards and the other awards we’ve recently won, demonstrates that our people really are the best in the business.”
